My daughter is a student and needed tires and I wondered if she also needed brakes. I am a thousand miles away, so I sent her here purely from the online reviews and hoped for the best. She felt safe in the shop, the staff were friendly and treated her with respect and kindness. They also kept me in the loop about the repairs and cost. It makes me believe they are also parents who worry about their own kids. I needed regular maintenance for my car and had absolutely excellent service. I work during regular business hours and I was able to drop my car in the morning, and if I wasn't able to make it by closing, they said they would do a payment link and a lockbox to grab my key, that way I could get my car even if I got done late. We’ve been to Iowa City Tire twice now for running over a screw or nail. Both times they got us in same day, which is huge for our family given we share one vehicle 😊 the office dog is adorable, they have delicious treats, coffee, and Big Grove beverages available while you wait. We are beyond grateful! We had a leaking water pump and called ten sevices and no one could get us in for three weeks! Iowa City Tire got us in, and then said they needed to order a part, and final repair would likely take 3-5 days. Very reasonable, straight forward. They've helped me twice on warranty repairs on at least one car but I think on two separate cars. They've handled my oil changes for years and done a few other maintenance related things. We ran over a bolt and got a hole in our tire and it was losing air fast. We were close to Iowa City tire and so we pulled in there. It was towards the end of the day. They were able to get us in and fix the tire in about 15-20 minutes and we were on our way. Every one there was very friendly. As an added bonus, they had drinks, snacks and a dog!
